A team project built to utilize and show off the capabilities of an XR studio.

Create a short film utilizing the abilities of an XR Studio Screen.
Solution
A little girl imagines flying through space!
The start of this project was brainstorming film ideas as a group. The team was comprised of animation and industrial design students. Everyone submitted a script and mood board, then as a team we went forward with what would become Operation Blast Off!
The set was designed to be modular, usinf 4 pieces to build out an entire space ship pod. It was developed using foam core models and gravity sketch vr. During this time I was also contrubuting to designing the outside of the ship so that it would match the interiors shape.
The set was built using CNC’d MDF board. Laser cut panels with 2d printed switches and other found objects where attached to create interactable control panels. I contributed to designing the center console.
As a small team we all took on roles beyond design and animation for the filming process. During this time I was art team, camera operator, and grip.
